Historical figures from the Global South like Brahmagupta or Al-Khwarizmi developed many of the fundamental concepts that are used in nowadays mathematics. Yet, their names and stories are often forgotten. As part of ICTP‘s stand at Trieste Next, I have developed four visual summaries of mathematical contributions from the Global South. They were displayed on a cube, so that visitors could interact with them.

ICTP‘s very first fundraising campaign was built around the butterfly effect concept. I was involved in the development of the visual identity: I have created the visual elements (the butterflies) and combined them in a series of stop-motion animations to accompany the evolution of the campaign.
As part of the dissemination activities of the OttaviaLAB collective, I have created an animated data visualization on prolific scientific authors.

I have designed logos for bioinformatics tools and online services.
